What are credits, free credits, and the Vault?
Imagina runs on credits: every turn you take spends a small number of them. You hold credits in two places, your free credits and your Vault, and Imagina always spends your free credits first.

Free credits vs Vault
- Free credits are your daily-refilling credits. Just for showing up, your free credits top up a little every day. They hold up to a cap, and they are always spent before your Vault.
- Vault is your permanent credits: the ones you buy, plus any you are gifted, earn from referrals, or receive as a welcome bonus. Vault credits never expire and are only touched once your free credits are empty.
Think of it like everyday money: you spend your free credits first and dip into the Vault only when they run dry.
How free credits fill
The first time you open Imagina each day, your free credits top up automatically. Ima (our fox) pops in with a little "+credits" reward so you know it landed. There is nothing to buy and nothing to set up.
Each day adds 50 credits, and your free credits hold up to 300 at once.
Log in daily for a streak bonus
Coming back every day builds a login streak. Once you have logged in 5 days in a row, your daily grant goes up from 50 to 60 credits for as long as you keep the streak alive. Miss a day and the streak resets, so the bigger grant rewards regular players.
It stacks, up to a cap
If you don't spend a day's credits, they carry over to the next refill, up to the cap. Once you are at the cap, a refill has nowhere to add to, so the extra is not given (and no reward popup shows that day). Your credits don't expire, they just stop filling once full. The free-credits panel tells you when you are topped up.
Your free credits refill toward the cap at midnight UTC. The panel shows a live countdown to it.
Spent before your Vault
When you take a turn, Imagina draws from your free credits first and only touches your Vault once they are empty. A single turn can be split across both: part covered by your free credits, the rest billed to your Vault.
In your credit history, turns fully covered by your free credits show the full cost struck through, and turns that were partly covered note how much came from your free credits.
Where to see it
- The coin button in the top bar opens a popin showing your Vault balance and your free credits as a progress bar (with a countdown to the next refill).
- The player menu has a "Free credits" entry that opens the full panel.
- The in-game cost popover (the coin button in the journey toolbar) shows your free credits alongside your Vault.
The daily reward
When your free credits top up, you get a short reward popup. If you would rather not see it every day, click Don't show again and future top-ups will arrive as a small notification instead. You can still open the panel any time from the menu or the top-bar button.
Running out mid-session
If you spend both your free credits and your Vault, the journey will show a "You ran out between turns" panel with a live countdown to your next refill, plus options to top up with a credit pack if you don't want to wait.

Credits are Imagina’s in-app balance for paid AI turns. When you submit an action during play, the engine runs your chosen model and deducts credits based on that turn’s cost.
Why are consecutive turns cheaper?
If you have watched your turn costs closely, you may have noticed something: the first turn of a session is often a little pricier, and the turns right after it land cheaper. That is not random, and it is not a discount we hand-pick. It...
