Instead of selecting from a fixed tree of options, you write what you want to do and the story responds. The engine keeps track of character state, plot threads, relationships, world details, and other structured context so journeys can evolve over long sessions.
At the heart of Imagina is Spark, our AI storytelling engine. Spark manages everything that makes a journey feel coherent: character state, plot threads, world facts, relationships, and structured context. Worlds are locked to the Spark version they were authored for, so updates to the engine never disrupt existing worlds or the journeys running on them.
We want Imagina to feel like a strong storytelling engine, not a generic chatbot. That means focusing on continuity, atmosphere, and worlds that can sustain real play.
We also believe creators should keep ownership of what they make. We host journeys and worlds so the service can function, but we do not claim ownership of them and we do not sell their contents.
We use frontier AI models to bring the best storytelling experience. This gives Imagina a much greater context length than other platforms, meaning journeys can remember more and stay coherent over longer sessions. It also lets us take advantage of thinking models that reason about your story before responding.
Imagina also optimises for long, rich turns rather than short back-and-forth exchanges, so each response carries more story forward. This is why we charge via credits rather than a flat subscription: different models have different costs, and we pass that choice to you. We will never quietly downgrade models to protect our margins; picking the best cost-to-quality ratio is up to you. We still think we can provide great cost with the latest smaller models, and our goal is to make high-quality AI storytelling accessible, not to squeeze profit out of every turn.
Because this is a user-driven storytelling platform, we may use automated systems and manual review to detect content that violates our Terms of Service or the law. We may remove non-compliant content or suspend accounts when needed to keep the platform safe and lawful.
Imagina rewards creators who publish worlds. When players spend credits on paid turns in your world, you earn a share of the credits charged, deposited directly into your account each night.
