Playing journeys
Understand turns, choices, and continuity while playing an Imagina RPG journey.
Every journey develops from the actions you submit and the story generated in response.
Write an action
Use the action box to describe dialogue, movement, decisions, or anything else your character attempts. Specific actions usually give the story clearer direction than very short replies.
Build on the response
Treat each generated response as the current state of the story. Your next action can accept what happened, investigate it, resist it, or take the journey in a different direction.
Keep continuity clear
When an important detail matters to your next action, mention it directly. Imagina also maintains journey state and memory, but explicit context can help when your intent depends on a subtle detail.
Give useful intent
Instead of writing only “continue,” describe what your character wants to accomplish next.
